What does the world’s best office look like?

Date: September 12th
Time: 20.00 – 21.30
Location: Bryghuspladsen 10, 1473 København K, Denmark

Event organized by Danish Architecture Center. Event will be in Danish.

Rows of desks and forests of screens. Open-plan offices have gained ground in the modern workplace. Why have we organized ourselves this way? Is it good for us? Can it be done better? Opinions about open-plan offices are divided. Some hate them, while others prefer to sit together rather than be isolated in their own office. How do we create the best environment for office work? Is table football and lounge areas good for creativity? And what does an office layout say about a company’s culture? We take a closer look at the office—from both an architectural and philosophical perspective.

Join us at AfterDAC, where we’ve invited philosopher and author Anders Fogh Jensen and architect Nikoline Dyrup Carlsen, founder of the architectural firm Spacon & X, for a conversation with architect Ane Cortzen about the world’s best office. As part of the event, we will open the doors to DAC’s own open-plan office. We will also tour BLOXHUB on the 3rd floor, a co-working space that has paid great attention to atmosphere and details.

The price for adults is DKK 115.
