Statens Kunstfonds årlige seminar: Kunstens rolle i samfundet

Date: November 20th
Time: 10.30 – 15.30
Location: Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium, Leo Mathiesens Vej 1, 1437 København K, Denmark

Join us at the annual seminar of the State Art Fund: What is the significance of art for our communities and well-being?

In recent years, several studies have highlighted a growing sense of well-being issues among children and young people. There is a significant focus on this issue among policymakers, and in the new government’s agenda, art and culture are considered potential solutions to the well-being crisis.

But what is the significance of art and culture for our communities and mental health? And why can art and culture help elevate the well-being agenda?

At the State Art Fund’s annual seminar, you will be presented with both Danish and international cases that shed light on this very topic. And you will have the opportunity to engage in an important conversation about how art and culture can contribute to new communities and well-being in partnership with local actors, institutions, and foundations.

Moderator: Anja Bo

The admission fee for this event is 400 kr.
