Morning format: Meet Designer Helle Mardahl

Date: June 26th
Time: 8.30 - 9.15
Location: Designmuseum Danmarks café: FORMAT, Designmuseum Danmark, Bredgade 68, 1260 København K, Denmark

Organized by Design Museum Denmark.

Visit Design Museum Denmark’s new ‘Morning format’ and meet the glass artist and designer Helle Mardahl, who will talk about her collaboration with Holmegaard and how to turn wild creativity into a business by being ‘crazier than most.’

Visiting Helle Mardahl’s gallery in Bredgade is like walking into a candy store. Colors and shapes pop out at you, and both water and coffee are served in glassware that makes you wonder if you’re even allowed to drink from them. Is it an artwork, functional design, or a quirky thing somewhere in between?

That’s one of the questions this edition of the MORNING FORMAT seeks to answer. The conversation will also cover how to turn wild creativity into a successful business, how Helle Mardahl practically works with her designs and her team, and how to become a recognized name in the world’s most iconic design stores and gain 190,000 followers on Instagram.

Helle Mardahl will bring and showcase a selection of her own whimsical designs this morning and share her personal list of major sources of inspiration.

This event is FREE.
