Ditlev Tamm & Malene Malling on identity, fashion, and vanity

Date: January 11th
Time: 19.00 - 20.30
Location: Aros Allé 2, 8000 Aarhus C, Danmark

In collaboration with Sparekassen Kronjylland, ARoS Talks presents lecture discussions that focus on identity, fashion, and vanity.

Clothing is more than just garments we put on for practical needs—it carries a multitude of meanings tied to our clothing choices, reflecting our social status, self-perception, and identity.

Join Ditlev Tamm & Malene Malling as they discuss the ability of fashion to stage without words—both historically and in the present. The conversation will be moderated by cultural journalist Jo Carlsen.

Ditlev Tamm is a law professor, writer, and crossdresser. Malene Malling is a publisher at Malling Publications, former editor-in-chief of fashion magazines Costume and Cover, and holds a master’s degree in history.

Design denmark members receive discounts; the ticket costs 140 DKK.
