Anna Aagaard

Artist tour of ‘Through the Back Side of My Eyes’ by Anna Aagaard

Date: October 26th
Time: 17.00 - 19.00
Location: Kunstforeningen Gl Strand, Gl. Strand 48, 1202 København, Denmark

Event organized by GL Strand.

Like Tobias Rehberger, Anna Aagaard is interested in the elasticity of the concept of art and the space between different art forms. She is particularly known for her sculptural, functional works, where she emphasizes the critical potential of the intersection when it comes to challenging existing structures, norms, and ideologies. During the tour, Anna will provide both an introduction to her own practice and a presentation of selected works in the exhibition.

Anna Aagaard graduated from the Eindhoven Design Academy and currently works as a practicing designer and artist, as well as Head of DesignLAB at the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam.

As a tribute to relational aesthetics and the act of creating relationships through art, which is one of Rehberger’s main concerns, we conclude with a performative dinner inspired by parts of the exhibition created by artist Micheline Nahra.

185 kr. including dinner and a glass of wine, as well as access to both exhibitions / 100 kr. for members.
