The Cabinetmakers’ Autumn Exhibition 2023 pays tribute to architecture in a celebration of Copenhagen’s status as UNESCO World Capital of Architecture.
Join us on an architectural tour of the Copenhagen that investigates the relationship between furniture and urban places, spaces, squares and buildings. Experience hidden gems, discover new perspectives on old, familiar buildings and places, and see how furniture can transform architecture or highlight new urban spaces that might otherwise have gone unnoticed.
The new furniture adds an extra dimension to its chosen place. It draws attention to itself in various ways, standing out, blending in, getting in the way, obstructing or simply being present. Every piece of furniture is a tribute to architecture, and every new constellation contributes to a new and broader interpretation of existing spaces.
