Exhibition Opening: NEW Design and Architecture

Date: June 21st
Time: 16.00 - 18.00
Location: Philip De Langes Allé 10, 1435 København, Denmark

Organized by the The Danish Royal Academy.

Come and see 240 graduation projects at the official opening of the graduation exhibition NEW Design & Architecture on June 21 at 4 PM, where everyone is welcome.

The exhibition showcases how a new generation of architects and designers have worked with concrete and complex issues. Their projects inspire new approaches toward more sustainable development and illustrate how architecture and design can contribute to driving real change in our society.

The graduates present original and aesthetic graduation projects developed based on the Academy’s three-pronged knowledge foundation, which is based on science, art, and practice. Many of the projects are made in collaboration with public and private companies and with input from other disciplines. The Royal Academy has long focused on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. These goals and their interconnections serve as an important compass for the graduation projects.

The projects are presented individually or in groups through visual material, models, and prototypes in three exhibition halls, providing insight into all programs from the architecture and design courses.

This event is FREE.
