DAC

Exhibition opening: Aware

Date: March 21st
Time: 17.00 - 21.00
Location: Bryghuspladsen 10, 1473 København K ,Danmark

Event organized by Danish Architect Center.

Come and join DAC for a sensory exhibition opening of Aware. An exhibition that invites you into a total installation about architecture’s impact on our senses. Architecture can create caring and protective spaces, or stimulate your curiosity. It can invite you to jump or shout, move quickly or slowly, to activity or passivity. The exhibition Aware invites you to explore and reflect on how you experience different spaces.

The exhibition has been created in collaboration with the architecture firm 3XN/GXN, which is fascinated by the dynamic relationship between space and human.

At the exhibition opening, Mesmer will interpret two of the exhibition’s spaces in their own sound universe, which includes sounds from Copenhagen and from nature. You can also – inspired by the exhibition’s mirror installation – create beautiful kaleidoscopes together with illustrator Stine Illum. It’s fun for both children and adults! Later in the evening, from 7 p.m., DAC Café will serve delicious dinner, the dish of the day at a good price.

This event is FREE.
