Blockchain Business event (København): Is the EU’s Digital Product Passport the path to a greener business model?

Date: October 10th
Time: 12.00 - 15.30
Location: Industriens Hus, H.C. Andersens Boulevard 18, 1553 København V, Denmark

In an era where sustainability, transparency, and responsibility have become key concepts in consumer society, the EU has introduced the concept of a digital product passport. This initiative is part of the EU’s broader efforts to promote a circular economy and ensure that products are designed and manufactured with consideration for their entire lifecycle. Should businesses address this challenge individually, or should they explore opportunities for a collective solution in the fashion, furniture, and design industries?

The digital product passport is a digital label that accompanies a product throughout its lifecycle, containing data about the product’s origin, materials, and recycling possibilities. Its goal is to provide reliable product information to consumers, businesses, and authorities, supporting sustainability and promoting circular supply chains.

For the fashion, furniture, and design sector, this entails both challenges in adaptation and opportunities to enhance sustainability and consumer trust. Our seminars in Aarhus and Copenhagen will explore what this means for the industry and how it can collaborate on a common solution.
