As summer arrives on Bredgade, Designmuseum Danmark once again opens its museum garden for the first DESIGNBAR of the year, organized and hosted in collaboration with Design denmark: the museum’s recurring after-work event where design, conversations, and cold drinks come together under the open sky.
DESIGNBAR is an informal evening focused on current themes, design, and social gathering in a historic setting. Each edition is built around a new topic, and this time the evening revolves around Things That Last — from materials and craftsmanship to the objects and ideas we choose to carry with us over time.
With music from the evening’s DJ, specialty beer in the glasses, and the museum garden as its setting, DESIGNBAR invites guests to a relaxed start to the weekend in the heart of Danish design history.
At this first DESIGNBAR of the year, the museum café FORMAT will also launch its new custom-brewed beer, created especially for the museum and its summer events.
DESIGNBAR is created in collaboration with Design denmark.
