Competition: Help design the recycling icon of the future

Date: May 22
Time: 15.00 - 16:30
Location: DDC, BLOX, Bryghuspladsen 8, 2nd floor

Are you a design student? Now is your chance to design the recycling icon of the future – and win a great cash prize.

Today, the ♻️-icon is often used to refer to both recycling and reuse.

But there is an important difference: REUSE is about using the same product again in its original form or function. REUSE means that materials are broken down and processed into raw material – which requires significant energy production.

Therefore, a new icon is needed that clearly represents recycling – and can guide consumers and businesses to choose reuse over recycling whenever possible.

Join the DDC – Danish Design Center for an inspiration session and gain insight into the ‘Rebrand Reuse’ competition – a global design initiative from PR3, RESOLVE, Accenture Song and others.

DDC – Danish Design Centre will give you the context and knowledge you need to get started – and invites you on an exclusive tour of the Danish Architecture Centre’s new exhibition Reuse!
The event is from 15.00 – 16.30 at DDC – Danish Design Center. The address is Bryghuspladsen 8, 2nd floor, BLOX.

Afterwards we will walk together into the Danish Architecture Centre.
